Our team comprises skilled artisans who possess an innate understanding of traditional woodworking techniques passed down through generations.

Ellis and Co carpenters are experts in the repair of historic buildings and timberwork. We use traditional techniques and alongside modern methods to support the buildings original structure and materials. Our work includes both first and second fix work and ranges from major structural interventions to repair and replace roofs, new floor levels and lay timber flooring. We employ a philosophy of minimal intervention in order to preserve original historic timber and ensure structural stability.
