Cathedrals, Abbeys and Ecclesiastical Buildings

Cathedrals, Abbeys and Ecclesiastical Buildings

We undertake internal and external building works to Cathedrals and Abbeys across the South West. In 2016 we were proud to have worked on six of the South West’s cathedrals including, Wells, Bristol, Salisbury, Chichester, Gloucester and Worcester. We have also repaired Abbeys including Downside Abbey.

We undertake large internal alterations to improve accessibility and visitor experience, through to structural conservation and repair of roofs, timbers and masonry. We can repair and clean decorative features using conservation mortar mixes and gentle poultice methods to protect the natural stone. Our Director of Conservation can provide additional specialist advice. Most heritage projects require a range of skills which we can provide. Our clients know that we work with both sensitivity and care.
